Namecheap adds BTCPay as a Bitcoin payment option ...

Namecheap bitcoin transactions failing

I tried adding $12 dollars to a new Namecheap account to buy a domain using Bitcoin. The transactions appears to go through fine. I was a little surprised when I received no confirmation email. Then hours pass, my bitcoin wallet shows the transaction as clearing but Namecheap doesn't show my added funds as landing. I then contact support and they let me know they are experiencing "Bitcoin Connectivity Issues". So now I'm being forwarded to submit a ticket to the billing department with just a bitcoin address showing the transaction happened.

Say Hello to Namecheap at #bitcoin2013

Namecheap will be at the Bitcoin Conference in San Jose this weekend.
If you're heading to the conference, find me (@teddy) and say hello! Would love to hear about your Namecheap/Bitcoin experience and how we can improve.
Also, check your conference bag for a free domain coupon card. We were only able to include 700 so if you didn't get one in your bag, come find me and I'll hook you up!
We are very excited to meet the community!
Forgot to add -- if you add 1 or more BTC worth or credit to your account before June 1st, we'll give you a 10% bonus!

Namecheap accepts legacy coin only using BitPay, so I created a site that accepts Bitcoin Cash and tons of other coins via CoinPayments.net (Once I get 50 transactions I can open a real reseller account and automate this process)

If you weren't aware, Namecheap takes Bitcoin Cash through BitPay. Checking out using Electron Cash is simple and extremely fast.

Buying or renewing a domain name using BCH is very simple on Namecheap. Here's how to do it:
  1. Go to your account profile -> billing
  2. Next to Account Balance select "Top Up"
  3. Select Bitcoin and click Next
  4. Enter how much you wish to add
  5. At the BitPay checkout screen select Bitcoin Cash
  6. Pay the invoice.
  7. Shop for domain names and checkout using your account balance.
I just did this and had a new domain name purchased before the transaction had a single confirmation.
Bitcoin Cash is awesome!

I've asked Namecheap if they plan to support Bitcoin Cash: "Our provider is working on implementing this option at the moment. " [currently using BitPay]
